L2D is looking for a multidisciplinary designer capable of crafting unique interactive experiences, digital brand executions and amazing digital products, all with an eye for user experience best practices, client needs, and brand guidelines. This Interactive Designer will collaborate with the Art Director and the rest of the design team to craft a range of innovative, digital projects.
The Interactive Designer at L2D will assist the Art Director in guiding the design team through the process of creating everything from complex, data-heavy websites to groundbreaking immersive XR experiences. This individual’s role will include developing digital UX strategies and interaction designs across a wide variety of digital delivery methods—desktop, mobile, physical, and XR. They must have an understanding of current design trends while not succumbing to them when they don’t work in concert with the client or project goals.
Our team comprises individuals who work together with empathy, honesty, tenacity, and humility. We use daily collaboration and constructive criticism sessions to create innovative design systems with the purpose of realizing our client’s goals. Additionally, the design team works closely with the administration, content, and development teams to bring these systems to life. - A truly creative user interface design portfolio that considers both client requirements and user experience best practices
- Experience working with teams to create products that consider both innovation and usability. L2D is highly collaborative and requires that this candidate will not just listen but also do their best to anticipate the needs, concerns, and input from teammates across departments
- The ability to communicate about your work and your decision making, all with an open mind towards beneficial collaboration
- A strong command of UX best practices, design systems and color theory, and web typography
An excellent understanding of Figma and various tools from the Adobe Creative Suite - A basic understanding of the process and tools used in front-end development Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field

Front-End / Creative Developer - The ideal candidate for this position will be someone with at least 3+ years of professional design-centric creative/front-end development experience, well-versed in the art of working with designers to achieve pixel-perfect user-experiences. Ideally, this applicant would also approach the position with a positive, team-focused demeanor, and have the desire to share our passions, continue our traditions, and embark on new adventures.
Skills / Experience
Crucial
- Pixel-perfection through beautifully optimized code. Among others, this position would require strong skills in HTML, CSS/SASS, Javascript (Vue, GreenSock, etc.), version control (Git), and Canvas
- A basic knowledge of WebGL, babylon.js, three.js and immersive web frameworks
- Experience with front-end performance optimization, compatibility, and basic SEO and ADA standards
- A strong knowledge of progressive enhancement and responsive design principles
- Possessing a quiet confidence and friendliness that encourages trust (giant egos need not apply)
- A cross-discipline (strategy + design + dev) collaborative mindset
- A desire to stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and code advancements
- To think that it’s fun to prototype — even on emerging or experimental platforms
- The ability to utilize appropriate frameworks while not being subject to every web trend
Important
- Possesses some type of background in a creative pursuit
- A working knowledge of basic universal design principles
- A strong desire to continually seek and share inspiration / knowledge
- A firm grasp on web typography best practices
- The communication skills necessary to articulate challenges before they become problems
Bonus
- Some C# or C++ experience, as applicable to Unity and Unreal development
- Some experience with Swift, Android Studio or React Native
- Some familiarity with server-side technologies, particularly PHP and mySQL

Through closely working with the Partners and Senior staff, this entry-level employee will be responsible for both organizing and assigning the internal tasks necessary for each project, and communicating directly with agency clients regarding inbound or completed tasks. The ideal candidate would be unique in many ways, but primarily this person will need to be capable of encouraging a culture of organization while remaining compassionate to those whose task it is to operate in a world of nuance and evolution.
Primary responsibilities are as follows:
Through closely working with the Partners and Senior staff, this entry-level employee will be responsible for both organizing and assigning the internal tasks necessary for each project, and communicating directly with agency clients regarding inbound or completed tasks. The ideal candidate would be unique in many ways, but primarily this person will need to be capable of encouraging a culture of organization while remaining compassionate to those whose task it is to operate in a world of nuance and evolution.

- Maintain internal strategic and production schedules for 3D, Design, and Dev teams.
- Work with Partners to administer project management system
- Participate in and sometimes lead: Regular company or team-wide project status meetings
- Maintaining regular communication with clients regarding incoming or finished tasks
- Oversee hourly collection and categorization for all employees
- Work with Partners to review preceding and develop proceeding weekly schedules
- Communicate with Partners regarding project statuses and priorities
- Monthly collaboration with billing department about project statuses
